First day as Mr. and Mrs.

First morning waking up as a Mrs. How do I feel? The same as I did before. LOL Grant and I starting off the day revisiting the events that unfolded the day before. Its so true when they say its over so fast. Way to fast! Although it was fast, it was magical. Everything went absolutely perfect. I couldnt of dreamt of anything better...okay maybe to slow down the time to take it in, but thats about it :)

We met Marie and Erik for breakfast, and had the pleasure of the brattiest kid ever being close to us. I urged Erik to steal his balloon but he didnt :p There is a sand sculpture competition going on in Fort Myers Beach, so we tried to wander around there and see if any sculptures had been started. Only the advertisment one was done, but it had some pretty cool features to it. We than took a long walk along the beach enjoying all the naturist things about the ocean. I just love it down here.

Shortly after that we headed back to the hotel so Grant could work on Sgt. Pepper. He got into a bit of trouble last night. We parked in front of the house in some gravel, on a slight incline. Well Sgt Pepper was stuck and it took a few people to push him out. At first he seemed okay, but than he started making these screeching noises. It appears gravel was stuck in the rotors. Grant had to take off the wheels and get the rocks out. He was successful for all the rocks but one. So we took it on roads where we could get higher speeds with hopes to knock it out or grind it down. Finally after 30 minutes it got kicked out. Phew! Scared us for a minute Sgt. Pepper. We promise to not park in gravel ever again! We saved a piece of gravel for the scrapbook though. lol

We picked a place along the water for dinner, Rum Grille. The food was alright, and the service wasnt much better. Its hard to eat around here since I dont eat seafood. I need to just bit the bullet and try some of it. After dinner we met up with Kelly, Tony, and Anthony for some putt putt golf. Grant has raved about how great the minature gulf courses, and thought Anthony would enjoy some kid fun :) The landscaping was pretty impressive! And the course was really fun. It was a jungle theme. Grant took first place (of course), than Tony, Anthony, Me, and Kelly. Anthony won a free game with a hole in one!

Not your typical first day of honeymoon, but I enjoyed it :)
