Guests Are Arriving!

When Grant and I got back from our mini roadtrip, we decided to go for a swim in the ocean. Now I dont know how to swim, so I get nervous in water. But Grant took extra special care of me and made sure we were in areas I was safe in. It felt so nice to be in the ocean. Warm water, sun shining on your face, sand between my toes. Love it! Once I felt it out a bit I started to enjoy the waves. They were pretty good size, and it reminded me of the movie the Big Kahuna. LOL Obviously not quite surfer waves where we were, but ya know what I mean.

Most disappointing thing I learned in the ocean....the sandbar is not a place I can get a cocktail! LOL After getting more saltwater than Id like in my eyes and mouth, I was ready to head back to the house.

When we got back to the house I had a text from our first wedding guests! Marie and Erik had arrived. YAY! They were staying about a mile down the road, and were getting settled in. So we took showers, and I once again wrestled with the humidity in trying to make my hair presentable, and waiting for Marie and Erik to meet us at the house. We ended up going back to the place we went the night before for dinner, Yuctan Grill. It was so nice to get to visit with them. We all were pretty whooped so we called it an early night.

Big wedding to do list in the morning :) I cant believe the wedding is right around the corner!
