Friends Are Good For The Soul...

and that friend would be Libra, Walter, and Rosie! I met Libra a short time ago, actually right around this time last year. Right away I knew she was that breath of fresh air type friend everyone needs. Some difficult conversations that most friends wouldnt touch, Libra always would. And when they were over I would always have a new understanding about things. Those are friends that are hard to come by! Sadly for me, Libra moved to Atlanta earlier this year. Very, very sad. So I was soooo happy to have this chance to catch up with her, even if it was a very short one.

Grant and I got into Georgia much earlier than we expected so we got to spend a little extra time with Libra and Wallter. (Oh and Rosie to) We met Libra's boyfriend, Walter, who I have heard so much about. Everything was right on que. Walter is a sweetheart and perfect for Libra. He has that same good person vibe about him that Libra does. You feel so comfortable with him right away. I could see the love between the two all night, and that gave me the warm fuzzies :) Grant and Walter hit it off to. All they had to say was videogames and iphones, and they were good all night :) And of course the love of their cars was something they had greatly in common :)

We headed to dinner with Rosie. Now Rosie is also someTHING special in Libra and Walters life. That would be their new car. We were the first to get a ride in her. Yes we are lucky! She was a beauty! And rode so smooth. Rosie took us safely to dinner. We went to Vortex in Atlanta. Great burger place, and you all know how I love a good burger.But surprisingly, I didnt get one :p The buffalo chicken was divine though :) Good Food, Great conversations. I told you friends are good for the soul!

We called it an early night, and we snuggled in a very comfy bed! Have to admit it was nice after the full size Days Inn bed the night before :p We were able to grab breakfast with Libra before we hit the road today. She took us to a place called, Thumbs Up. Again, great food. Im a pretty picky about my eggs, and their eggs were delish!

Than our short visit came to an end. Boo Hoo! Thank you Libra and Walter for your great hospitliaty! Especially with us dropping on on a worknight! Cant wait to come visit again!
